Tall is the opposite of short, but they are both measurements of height.
Hot is the opposite of cold, but they are both temperatures.
People hate only things that are similar to themselves.
Barcelona fans hate Real Madrid, not a French 3rd devision rugby team.
No one has a rivalry with a highschool across the country, it’s always the closest one.
We are often closer than we think, especially with the things we hate.
Otherwise we wouldn’t hate it.
